Polyurethane-based dispersion adhesives or so-called duroplastic adhesives have a low activation temperature and outstandingly high heat and moisture resistance with very high adhesion. Easily applied using a spray pistol, PU emulsion adhesives achieve outstanding results on high-gloss foils and are ideal for deep drawing. Their excellent spraying properties enable quick and easy further processing.
Adhesive systems for multiple uses
PU dispersion adhesives from IMAWELL are available as 1C or 2C systems (single or two-component dispersion adhesives) Ready-to-use 1C systems are easy to handle, since the adhesive can be applied directly to the surface to be glued. 2C systems, on the other hand, are first mixed, one component serving as binder and the other as hardener. These systems have higher heat resistance.
